Movie Baton

Not able to update sooner. Came back on Monday from K.L. and the line is bad. No able to sent one. Fever on Tuesday and Wednesday. Not much of collection I have done on movies. Reason is I am always fan to big screen. Somehow life change recently. Forbid me visiting the big screen as frequent as I want...

Total Number of Films I own,
Can't recall, I think around 30 copies of DVD. Out of the 30, 20 copies I got it few weeks ago. Not from Glodok. But from a shopping compleks. Each piece cost IDR5000. Get to test every copy to ensure clarity. I don't plan to take this as collection. I bought it cause I have not seen it. Planning to visit Glodok next weekend. Just want to give it a try. Someone mention to me that place is more like a sauna. Can't imagine how to search for the movie 'for as long you want'.

The last film I bought,
There are 20 copies of it. Pacifier, Hitch, Madagascar, Elecktra, Lupin(French), Arahan(Korean), can't remember the rest.

Five film that I watch a lot/meant a lot to me,
Most of the films has it meaning, couldn't remember which five mean the most to me. None of the shows I watch repeated, unless it is on tv or cable tv(which I don't own, do it in hotel HBO). But I do learn a lot from the movies I watch. Just that my brain can be a harddisk. Sometimes I do forget the lesson I learned.

I know I am not young.. can't blame the stomach. Pronunciation of this hotel name causes laugther.. a colleague got into a cab and told the driver ".. Park Lane", the driver a young chap, question "fuck lane??"... hahaha..

End of life II

I went there to take photos.. a number of it.. then came a man to the gate.. I ask a question "Can I take photos in there?".. the man question "Why you want to do that for?"... after finishing a conversation with the man, I realise either I have ask a wrong question or am I just doing the wrong thing. Because of photography, I thought about it. But yet is still a question, do I do it because I like photography. .Image hosted by Photobucket.com
You have to ring the bell.. no no.. not calling the dead ok.. be cool.. as the sign board says to ask for assistant on your visit.. of course not any visit.. either visiting friend.. no no not those "friend".. real friend ok.. or relatives. This place doesn't sound English or American.

There is a lot of cross in there. Notice the chairs and the table, I guess is for those visiting this place to have a rest on a sunny day. It is a nice gesture in such a place.

The main entrance. There is a bicycle and shoes.. is guy and not floating. He is walking around the car park in front of the entrance bare footed. Must be doing his exercise. Don't know why around that place.

View from the entrance. Well kept. If it is not a grave yard, I would mistaken it for a garden. Quite grand the entrance. The best part is, this place exist in Jakarta.

The end of life

The photos below taken from where a few of us are staying. Nodoubt the surrounding is uncomfortable, the food serve in the morning is healthy food. There are yogurts, bread, bun, mix cereal (instead of just cornflakes), smoke salmon in slices, etc. Actually I find this view quite attractive in the sense of photography opportunity. Planing to get there to take close up and visit the church too. Don't know if I am allowed to entered. Hmm.. will try tomorrow.

BOMB!! This seems to be an serious issue in Jakarta. The check on vehicles are getting tighter. They will use a mirror to look the bottom of the car. (Wonder if they use that to peek what is under the skirt). Scanning if anything threatening their premises. They even check the booth of the car. Even serious at the hotel entrance, the securities will open the driver door and the passenger door to have a peek in the car. In case they find anything suspicious. On a day I was sitting behind the driver, the security open the door and have a peek, it makes me feel like I am in deep shit. I was frozen at the moment.. hehe.. no pee in my pants.. Even on the main road, they posted security personnel to check on lorries, sometime causing jams.

This is taken at Plaze Indonesia, security check on vehicle.. for bombs!!!

One of the weekend me and colleague went to one of the shopping complex and stroll we do. Most of the shop we went in, we came out empty handed. Even if there is sales we still came out 2 combs of bananas. The things there is expensive! Damn! It never occurs to me they have such places. We manage to grab a thing or two, of course something to fill the stomach.. hehehe..

See the picture below, not bad rite. we went in there to find a lot interesting item. Items on sales. Outdate Nike watch on sales and it is having a low price compare to KL. Nobody bought anything. Moving in there is quite fun. They have cinemas that makes you pay RM30 per ppl per show. We manage to get two free t-shirt from Sony Erricson booth.. launching new phone.. can't remember the model.. two free try on Star Wars game for us.. at this juncture we were having real fun. What I want to say is, if we get to go out in a group and they wont mind doing things together, they will make the day a memorable one. You know, that kind of feel is hard to come buy. You see the gang is laughing, enjoying.

Funny shapes of building and colourful.. found this at Plaza Indonesia.

Oh there is a thing I notice in Jakarta, you get to see houses cramp around, not organised in anyway. Some is tall some is low and many different sizes. One look at it, everyone is building their house to suite their taste. The best part they are neighbours. WOW! Isn't this amazing. Maybe not to you guys.

Taken this from 17th floor, at the horizon is Casablanca Puri condominium.

Seems like I'm writing alot today. You guys dont have to read it. Most of it is just babling. hahaha .. Just look at the photo. That what I am planning to do post photo and short description of the photo. Whether I going to keep my word.. ah maybe not..
